Shain Fine Art in Charlotte, NC, Offers Fall Open House Event

Shain Fine Art in Charlotte, NC, will offer a Fall Open House, from Oct 19 - 27. The Open House will feature works by Michael J. Lynch, Robert L. Marshall, and Kim Schuessler.

Shain Fine Art is pleased to announce the representation of Michael J. Lynch. Through his loose spontaneous brushwork, Lynch offers a subtle suggestion rather than a detailed rendering of the landscape. His use of color can be lush and bold as well as intimate and restrained. A Denver native, Lynch is considered the best of the best in his genre.

Also new to the gallery is Robert Marshall of Utah. His paintings are a close-up and personal view of the landscape - the visual vehicle through which structural concepts configure themselves. Marshall is a familiar figure in the Scottsdale, AZ, arts scene and art professor at Brigham Young University.

The final artist to be featured during the Fall Open House is Kim Schuessler, an Atlanta artist whose light-hearted paintings on boxes are a vision of a simpler brighter world that exists in our imagination.

On Nov. 2 - 24, Shain Fine Art will present, Jean Stromberg Retrospective and Sale, featuring the artists' wonderfully imaginative paintings. This will be the first time the artists' original works will be available, including oils, watercolors, and pottery.

The exhibition will also include originals from which many fine art print editions and national campaign posters were made, such as Success Comes In Cans and Eclipse, made for the Hawaii museum. There will also be originals for posters commissioned by Carolina Opera, Charlotte Trolley, Carousel Parade and Festival in The Park.

The final event of the fall season will take place on Dec 7, from 6-10pm, when Shain Fine Art offers its Holiday Open House, featuring works by Atlanta artist Henry Barnes.
