The Bluewood Gallery in Brevard, NC, will present Southern Appalachian Photographers Guild (SAPG) Exhibit, on view from Oct. 5 - 31, 2007. Ten percent of net profits from this exhibit will be donated to Friends of DuPont State Forest.

The Southern Appalachian Photographers Guild is a select group of premier photographers who are second to none in their quest for excellence. All members are seasoned professionals who not only demonstrate superior photographic skill, but subscribe to the highest code of professional and ethical standards. Membership is by invitation only and include Susan Stanton, William A. Smith, Bill Lea, Don McGowan, Les Saucier, Jeffrey Miller, Warren Bedell and Stewart Stokes.

SAPG takes a pro-active stance on environmental issues. They respect the environment and accept the role of guardian with the utmost pride and care. The Friends of DuPont State Forest is a non-profit organization that helps preserve DuPont State Forest.

Bluewood Gallery is one of nine galleries in downtown Brevard which participate in Brevard's 4th Friday Gallery Walks. Unlike many art walks or art strolls which take place at the beginning of the month, Brevard offers visitors an alternative. Remaining Gallery Walks take place: Oct. 26, Nov. 23, and Dec. 28, 2007. The walks are free and open to the public and begin at 5pm and continue till 9pm.
