The Art League of Henderson County in Hendersonville, NC, Features Works by Chloe Boehm and Bettye Paden

The Art League of Henderson County in Hendersonville, NC, will present an exhibit of works by Chloe Boehm and Bettye Paden, on view in the Grace Etheredge Room at Opportunity House from Oct. 9 through Nov. 5, 2009.

Chloe Boehm studied at Wayne University, Detroit, MI and exhibited with the Gross Point Artists Association and the Michigan Watercolor Society prior to moving to Hendersonville, where she has exhibited at Touchstone Gallery and with the Art League of Henderson County. Boehm works in acrylic, watercolor, pastel, and mixed media.

Bettye Paden has been in Hendersonville for 53 years. She works in a variety of media, and continues to explore new techniques and methods. She graduated from Wesleyan College in Macon, GA, and studied art with a number of nationally-acclaimed artists. Paden is a past president of the Art League and of the Western Carolina branch of the National League of American Penwomen. Her works can also be seen locally at Narnia Studio.
