Randolph Arts Guild in Asheboro, NC, Features Works by Mike Durham, John Martin, and Duncan Lewis

Mike Durham --------------------- John Martin ----------------------------------- Duncan Lewis

The Randolph Arts Guild in Asheboro, NC, will present the exhibit, Durham, Martin, & Lewis, an exhibition of sculpture by Mike Durham, John Martin, and Duncan Lewis, on view in the Sara Smith Self Gallery, at the W.H. Moring, Jr. Arts Center, from Oct. 5 - 28, 2010.

These artists re-use, re-purpose, and reinterpret objects from the world around them. Each artist shares with the others a background in the style and technique of creating found metal sculpture. Their inspiration is derived from creating a second life for materials and objects from the world around them. The exhibit offer three different directions in three dimensions.

There will also be a "Lunch and Learn" opportunity on Tuesday Oct. 26, 2010, from noon to 1pm. This is an opportunity for the public to learn about the artists and artwork from the exhibition. Bring a lunch, an appetite, and a thirst for knowledge.

For further information check our NC Institutional Gallery listings, call the Guild at 336/629-0399 or visit (www.RandolphArtsGuild.com).
