Cleveland Co. Arts Council in Shelby, NC, Features Major Pottery Show

The Cleveland County Arts Council in Shelby, NC, is proud to announce the upcoming Seventh Annual Treasures of the Earth pottery show and sale which is planned for Feb. 7 - 28, 2002. This promises to be the best exhibit yet with the works of 29 local and regional artists including a number of famous potters from Upstate South Carolina.

The works on exhibit include sculpture and pottery. The variety of styles and types are outstanding. It is a must see show!

In conjunction with the Treasures of the Earth exhibition, the Arts Council will also present its 2nd Annual Bowl-ing for Dollars lunch event on Feb. 26, from 11am-2pm. Enjoy a delicious bowl of homemade soup in a beautiful handmade pottery bowl donated by local potters. You get to keep the bowl when you pay for the soup.
