Richland County Public Library in Columbia, SC, Features Works by Vennie Deas Moore

Richland County Public Library in Columbia, SC, is presenting the exhibit, A People of the Land: Lowcountry Portraits, featuring a South Carolina traveling exhibit by photo-documentarian Vennie Deas Moore, on view in the Wachovia Gallery of the Main Library through Jan. 15, 2009.

Over the last two decades, residents of the South Carolina Lowcountry have seen rapid growth impact their environment and way of life. The exhibit captures the multigenerational families who live in the coastal region of South Carolina adapting to the changes around them.
