Nina Liu & Friends in Charleston, SC, Offers Work by Michael Farrar

Michael Farrar, best known for his vibrant, aggressive abstract watercolors and wry oil wash on paper works will be showing in Recruiting For The Side Show at Nina Liu & Friends in Charleston, SC, from Nov. 2 - 30. His wry paper works comment on and reflect upon the human condition and man's foibles.

Farrar is a native of Clifton Forge, VA, and earned a BS in Art Education at Concord College in Athens, WV. In addition to education classes, he concentrated heavily on drawing, sculpture, printmaking and painting classes. While in WV he was Painter in Residence at Pipestem State Park.

Over the years, Farrar has had numerous one-man exhibits, and participated in invitational, juried and open shows. He also exhibits regularly at a number of outdoor art festivals each year. Farrar has work in a number of private and corporate collections and is represented in galleries in VA, WV, and SC. He is a member of the National Watercolor Society and a Signature Member of the VA Watercolor Society.
