TwoArtChicks in Greensboro, NC, Features Works by les caison III

Welcome to the place where serenity is revealed, NC painter les caison III unveils a new body of work entitled Revealed for a winter exhibition at Greensboro, NC's TwoArtChicks.

This exhibition considers staid, content and peaceful moments as seen through 20 narrative oil and graphite paintings. This marks caison's tenth one-man exhibition since earning a BFA in painting from Appalachian State University in 1998. caison's distinct narratives depicting people, places and things exhibit throughout the Southeast. His work is collected nationwide. TwoArtChicks presents Revealed from Nov. 14 through Jan. 10, 2004.

les caison III's narrative painting style of intertwining oil color with under drawing is privately collected in Georgia, New York, Illinois and Hawaii. His work hangs throughout NC as well. TwoArtChicks of Greensboro and Solo Art Gallery in Winston-Salem, NC, represent caison. His past exhibition highlights include Containers, as part of the 1999 Arts in Action Series at the UNC-Wilmington; several annual Winter Shows at the Green Hill Center for North Carolina Art, also of Greensboro; and several commissioned pieces in Western North Carolina. Popular Asheville, NC, establishments featuring caison's largescale paintings include The Cabin Restaurant and City Bakery. Honors include artwork in the Permanent Collection of Appalachian State University and First Prize in the Randolph Arts Guild's 19th Annual Art Show, Spring 2001. He is also a 2002-2003 recipient of the Regional Artist Project Grant - Asheville. caison, a Greensboro native, resides and paints in Asheville.

TwoArtChicks represents close to 300 diverse artists from across the country. Its gallery showcases original artwork and fine crafts: everything from watercolors, oils, acrylics, pastels, ceramics, jewelry, fiber arts, cards, metal, sculpture, dolls, mixed media, wood and much more! The gallery has something for every taste and every budget!

In addition to its sales gallery, TwoArtChicks also has 12 working artist studios for lease annually, offers classes and workshops by local, national and international artists in traditional arts and fine crafts and offers the building for rental for special events and activities.
