Vista Studios in Columbia, SC, Features Exhibit of Clay Works
Vista Studios in Columbia, SC, will present the Midlands Clay Arts Society's 2007 Holiday Pottery Show & Sale at Gallery 80808 on Nov. 30, 2007, noon-9pm and Dec. 1, 2007, 10am-5pm.
The Midlands Clay Arts Society was organized in 1987. Its members include local potters, crafts people and clay artists who promote the appreciation of working in clay. This a unique opportunity to acquire original pottery and sculptural pieces created by some of Columbia's ceramics artists. You will have a chance to buy raffle tickets, for members donated pottery, with all proceeds supporting visual arts students at Edward E. Taylor Elementary.
