Dobbin Gallery in Charleston, SC, Open New Location in Freshfield's Village

The art community is expanding on the barrier islands near Charleston, SC, with the opening of the Dobbin Gallery in Freshfield's Village on Johns Island, SC. Situated between Kiawah and Seabrook Islands, the gallery offers a wide range of artistic styles and subjects by local and nationally recognized artists including Deborah Pellock, Craig Reynolds, Jose Candia and Colleen Wiessmann. Wildlife enthusiasts will enjoy one of the areas largest selections of original bird paintings by featured artist, Alice Ann Dobbin.

The Dobbin Gallery still maintains its downtown location at 175 Church Street. For the past seven years, it has been a favorite with visitors and locals alike. According to owner, Bob Dobbin, "We decided to expand to Freshfields Village because it promotes and preserves the vanishing concept of the "mom & pop" store. We feel it will be a "must see" destination for visitors to the Charleston area as well as a relaxing venue for locals. We are happy to be part of this unique collection of boutiques and restaurants."

In addition to original oil paintings, the gallery offers limited edition giclees on canvas, watercolors, lithographs, fine porcelain, sculpture and one-of-a-kind jewelry creations.
