Calhoun Street Art Gallery in Bluffton, SC, Features Holiday Exhibition
Appropriate seasonings make every meal just perfect. The Calhoun Street Art Gallery in Bluffton, SC, which celebrated its first anniversary in Oct., is presenting its holiday selection of artwork called, Seasonings, which will be on view from Dec. 2 - 31, 2002.
If you are at a loss to find the perfect holiday
gift, a piece of fine art may be just what you're looking for.
Like the seasonings in a gourmet meal, the right piece of art
can be the touch of perfection that creates the perfect
holiday season, the added spice that makes it all so nice.
A variety of artwork will be available in this
exhibit, ranging from fine original oils, watercolors, collages,
and acrylics to ceramics, gold-leafing and top quality giclee
prints. Unique Christmas tree ornaments by Sara Tiffany would
look wonderful in a gift box under the tree, or as an addition
to your own collection of tree trimmings. Paintings like, "Wintry
City, by Irene K. Williamson, a collage, add a touch of snow and
the feeling of traditional, northern winters. Sunny landscapes
by Guido Petruzzi remind us that the holidays in the South can
still be warm and bright, though the days are shorter and the
beaches less crowded.
Ann White's new selection of coffee mugs in soft pastel colors
provide a gift that can be enjoyed all year round. A sweet dessert
can be had in richly-framed pears in pastels, designed by Lynn
Parrott.
