Hilton Head Art League on Hilton Head Island, SC, Offers Annual Holiday Boutique

The Hilton Head Art League is presenting its annual Holiday Arts Boutique featuring works by the volunteers who support the Art League's operations throughout the year with their time and talents. The Boutique will remain open until Jan. 3, 2006. Participating artists include: Joyce Albrecht, Kathy Quarles, Donna Ireton, Bill McFarland, Grace Stump, Mary Jane Martin, Alexandra Sharma, Mary Lou Westmaas, Carol Snyder, Annie Coughlin, Dee Ledlow, Stan Allaben, Frances Camillieri, and Gerald Williams.

The Holiday Arts Boutique features unique offerings for the season, as well an outstanding collection of fine art paintings, sculptures, notecards and craft items. The broad assortment of offerings is sure to include just what you've been looking for. There's sure to be something there for everyone on your shopping list. And, best of all, all the items have been created by our own local artists. Most pieces are one-of-a-kind.

This year's artists have some truly wonderful surprises. From crochet afghans, table runners, aprons and wall-hangings, to collector plates, tree ornaments and wreathes there are pieces that are exciting and different as gift items, or items that are perfect for your own home. Several artists have done charming miniature paintings. There are also cards, bird houses and richly adorned Father Christmas dolls. Holiday baskets and decorated gourds make nice additions to your holiday dinner table. Hand-knitted scarves protect against the winter chill in the air with high style.

And, if none of the above satisfies your gift search, you may consider gift certificates in any amount for the Gallery, or a gift certificate to pay for art classes at the Art Academy, or a workshop gift certificate for a weeklong art experience with a nationally-renowned art instructor. The art classes are a wonderful gift that will keep on giving throughout the year.

Do your Holiday shopping all in one place, and away from the crowded malls. There is no other shop with so much to offer, so much that is unique, creative and special. Make the Hilton Head Art League Gallery your only stop for all your shopping needs.

The Hilton Head Art League is a not-for-profit membership organization dedicated to promoting the visual arts in the community and enhancing the art skills of its members. It offers classes at the Art Academy on Cordillo Parkway and week-long intensive workshops with nationally renowned instructor at the Disney Studio at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina.
