Red Piano Art Gallery in Hilton Head Island, SC, Features New Exhibits for Spring 2000

The Red Piano Art Gallery in Hilton Head, SC, announce their first of two Spring 2000 exhibits entitled Jim Lamb & Patricia M. Lusk I Recent Paintings on view Mar. 18 - Apr. 15.

Lamb is a nationally known painter of wildlife subjects and a notable plein air painter of landscapes. His paintings are lush and rich in color whether capturing stunning imagery near his home in Issaquah, WA, along the coastlines of the Western United States or along the coastal environs of the Southeastern United States. Lamb feels a particular fondness for Lowcountry habitat and visits here frequently to paint outdoors.

Due to the popular demand of Lamb's paintings, this will be his second exhibit of new work at The Red Piano Art Gallery within the last year. He has continued to earn countless exposure about his work in numerous periodicals and was named "Artist of the Year "in 1991 at the Charleston, SC, Southeastern Wildlife Exposition and is a featured artist in The Best of Wildlife book published in 1997. His paintings are in the collections of The White House, The Smithsonian Institute, The Pentagon Collection, NASA, the National Football League and purchased by countless private collectors nationwide.

Patricia M. Lusk started her artistic career in 1983. For years she had her own gallery on Hilton Head Island but most recently moved to Jacksonville, FL. Lusk's subject matter is varied and her work is best known for it colorful gem-tone playfulness and beautiful use of light. Coastal landscapes, still lifes, figurative paintings and her intriguing "koi-pond" paintings displayed during this exhibit will offer the viewer a glimpse into her multi-faceted talents as a painter. Lusk has exhibited her work through numerous juried and museum exhibits and held past positions as President of the South Carolina Watercolor Society and Program Chairman for the Beaufort Art Association.

She is listed in Who's Who in American Art and Who's Who in South and Southeastern Art. Her paintings grace the interiors of both private and corporate collectors. This will be Lusk's first exhibition at The Red Piano Art Gallery.
