Artworks Gallery in Winston-Salem Offers Next Exhibition

Artworks Gallery in Winston-Salem, NC, is presenting a two-person show of pastel and gouache paintings on paper by Virginia Ingram, and paintings and mixed media works by Lea Lackey-Zachmann. The exhibit will open on Feb. 13 and continue through Mar. 10.

Virginia Ingram, in her first show as a new member of Artworks Gallery, is pursuing the theme of the "Sky", with an emphasis on lunar phases and eclipses. Ingram has an MFA in printmaking from UNC-Greensboro, has been a professional graphic artist and book designer for many years, and is a long-time member of Piedmont Craftsmen Inc. in Winston-Salem. Her work is in several private, corporate, and college collections.

Lea Lackey-Zachmann is showing work following the theme of "Earth", a continuation of her study of the elements. Zachmann received her MFA in painting from UNC-Greensboro and currently teaches art at High Point University.
