February Issue 2002

Aiken County Historical Museum in Aiken, SC, Features Work by Rachel Goodman

The Aiken County Historical Museum in Aiken, SC, will present an exhibition entitled, An Eye on Aiken and Beyond, featuring photographs by Rachel Goodman. The exhibition will be on view through Feb. 28, 2002.

An Eye on Aiken and Beyond, is presented in three sections, which are not only far-reaching in time and space, but is also far-reaching in concepts and execution. One deals with multiple imagery, the second, the Aiken segment, is an arrangement of photographs moving from one gradient of color to another. The third section highlights a road trip to san Francisco and back.

The photographs in this serise draw the viewer into places of mystery and solitude. The mystery continues as the viewer realizes that they are not the only one to experience the journey! Come take the journey and share the experience.
