Art Auction to Benefit United Family Services in Mecklenburg County, NC
On Mar. 2, the 2nd Annual Art with Heart Auction will take place starting at 6:30pm at Dana Auditorium, Queens College in Charlotte, NC. The auction is to benefit United Faimily Service's domestic violence programs, The Shelter for Battered Women and Victim's Assistance. The proceeds benefit a medical outreach program designed to educate professionals in the diagnosis and protocal of domestic violence in hospital and clinic settings in Mecklenburg County.
Incredible pieces of art from local artists will be auctioned off - and the feature of the evening is a piece by fresco artist, Ben Long. A Silent Auction takes place from 6:30pm through 8pm. A Live Auction will begin at 8:15pm. Tickets are $40 per person or $75 per couple in advance and $50 at the door per person.
United Family Services is a nonprofit, United Way member.
