The Art Institute of Charlotte in Charlotte, NC, Features Fiber Art Exhibition

In Charlotte, NC, the Art Institute of Charlotte Gallery's next exhibit will be Journey into Fiber Space featuring works by members of Fiber ART Options. The exhibit runs Feb. 3 - 28, 2003. The members of Fiber ART Options are: Nancy Cook, Robin Hawkins, Peggy Luey, Elizabeth Miller, Teresa Pietras and Beth Stewart-Ozark.

The organization's mission is: "To share our passion for fiber and the artistic process; to inspire our individual, unique artistic expression and personalities; to provide mutual and supportive feedback; to encourage and motivate our professional development; to share marketing and artistic resources; to learn from each others' artistic processes; and to foster awareness of the artistic value of works in fiber."
