Greensboro Artists' League in Greensboro, NC, Features Artwork of Guilford County 7th Grade Students

The Greensboro Artists' League of Greensboro, NC, in association with the Guilford County Schools, invites you to experience the variety of cultures in our community with Cultural Kaleidoscope, a celebration of diversity through the eyes of Guilford County seventh graders. The Cultural Kaleidoscope exhibition will be on display through Mar. 19 at the Greensboro Artists' League gallery in the Greensboro Cultural Center.

Greensboro Artists' League members and area ethnic groups have contributed resources to this project, which was sponsored by the Guilford County Schools and the Greensboro Artists' League. Representing the diverse richness found in our own community, student art will reflect various cultures (Indian, African, and Australian) studied in school and through the Cultural Kaleidoscope interdisciplinary program.

Participating schools are: Aycock Middle, Griffin Middle, Guilford Middle, Jackson Middle, Northwest Middle, and Southeast Middle. Students from Fernwood Middle and Kiser Middle are also participating in workshops, and their work will be displayed in a special exhibition during the Earth Day celebration at the Greensboro Cultural Center.

For further information check our NC Institutional Gallery listings or call the center at 336/333-7485.
