Artworks Gallery in Winston-Salem, NC, Features Works by Elsie Dinsmore Popkin

Artworks Gallery in Winston-Salem, NC, is presenting a one-person show of pastel paintings by Elsie Dinsmore Popkin from Mar. 19 - Apr. 20, 2002.

Popkin is showing a series of pastels featuring sheep on Styers Ferry Road, views from Graylyn and other locations in Winston-Salem, and work done on location while Artist- in-Residence at Crater Lake National Park in Oregon as part of their centennial celebration last year.

Popkin will be teaching a pastel class at Penland School of Crafts this summer. She has been a Fellow at the Virginia Center for Creative Arts and at Yaddo in Saratoga Springs, NY. She exhibits annually at the Uptown Gallery in NYC.
