RedSky Gallery Open Third Location in Charlotte, NC

RedSky Gallery, a 6,000 sq. ft. fine art and craft gallery located in the heart of the Dilworth area in Charlotte, NC, has opened its third location at the EpiCentre in Uptown Charlotte. The newest RedSky location is approximately 1800 sq. ft. and is housed in a glass fronted space facing the main courtyard of the EpiCentre complex. The design is more contemporary than the main gallery but still maintains some key architectural elements that mimic the main gallery.

RedSky Gallery's owner, Kellie Scott, admitted this is not the most opportune time to be opening a new business but she felt it was worth the risk to be located in such a prime area. To be literally in on the "ground floor" of such a great complex is an amazing opportunity. The modern, urban atmosphere at the EpiCentre is ideal for a fine art and craft gallery. "The EpiCentre location opens us up to an entirely different market of customers," says Scott. "We're excited to show Uptown Charlotte what RedSky has to offer."

At the EpiCentre gallery, customers will find contemporary paintings, fine art glass, ceramics and sculpture, as well as art-to-wear and fine studio jewelry. The Dilworth gallery will continue to serve as the main gallery. Both locations will provide rotating artists' exhibitions as well as an ongoing selection of art and fine craft.

In Nov. 2008, RedSky opened a second location in South Charlotte at Blakeney Town Center. The Blakeney Town Center location is approximately 1000 sq. ft. South Charlotte is one of the fastest growing housing markets in the area. Consequently, Scott believes that the Blakeney location will put RedSky in just the right place to "be there for customers to transform their new houses into home".

RedSky Gallery was founded six years ago to showcase fine arts and crafts. In addition to the gallery's collection of contemporary paintings, including pastels, oils, watercolors, and mixed media, RedSky offers exceptional works in glass, metal, ceramics, and wood. The gallery also has a wide selection of home accessories, jewelry, and art-to-wear. The gallery currently represents over 500 national and regional artists. Gallery visitors to all three locations will find a pleasing array of high quality collections that encompass a variety of styles and price points. The gallery is committed to representing the best in local and national contemporary art.

RedSky also offers a variety of Corporate Art Services. The gallery's expert staff can assist companies in choosing or commissioning the perfect piece of art for any office space. Through the Corporate Gift and Award Program the staff can help select a beautiful piece of art to recognize outstanding employees and clients. The gallery space may also be rented as a unique venue for your next special event. Additionally, the gallery offers Bridal Registry for art loving couples. Once couples register for items, they may be viewed online for guests to select and then call or come in to the gallery to purchase.
