Witzen's Opens to an Expanded Version of the Gallery Crawl in Charlotte, NC

In a neglected warehouse a home for culture, art and artists has been born in Uptown Charlotte, NC. Witzen's Studio and Gallery is an incubator for the arts. Throughout the 18,000 square feet of galleries and artists studios you can feel the inspiration and view the results at every turn. Without corporate funding or government support Witzen's has created an atmosphere conducive to creativity as well as an unpretentious forum for the public to experience cutting edge visual and performance arts.

The visual art exhibits under the direction of John Witzen and Duy Huyhn represents works of in-house as well as many regional artists. With an abundance of gallery space art admirers can meander through the galleries feasting their eyes on a myriad of paintings, photographs, sculptures and installations. As a special treat patrons are invited to tour artists' working studios and meet the artists.

The gallery features an expanded version of the Gallery Crawl each month which includes performance arts under the direction of John Witzen and Curtis McCorkle, This Warehouse Theatre features a diversity of performances including music, dance, acting and the spoken word. There is something for everyone at Witzen's Studio and Gallery.
