Asheville Gallery of Art, in Downtown Asheville, NC, Offers Works by Olga Michelson

The Asheville Gallery of Art in Asheville, NC, hosts Olga Michelson for the month of Apr.

Originally from Russia, Michelson was born and raised in Moscow where she acquired her art education, with a primary interest in oil on canvas. While there, she worked as a decorator for the Moscow Drama Theater and as an assistant architect for the Moscow City Restoration Project.

After migrating to the US, Michelson was first represented by Park Shore Gallery in Naples, FL. Upon moving to Asheville, she became a member of the Asheville Gallery of Art. A Versatile painter, her subjects include landscape, still life, architectural scenery, and ballet. For this exhibit she has chosen to concentrate on ballet, flowers and landscapes.
