The Art Asylum in Bluffton, SC, Features Works by Roeder Kinkel

The Art Asylum in Bluffton, SC, will present the exhibit, Another Frame of Mind, featuring works in acrylica, pastel and oils by Roeder Kinkel.

Kinkel studied at the College of Fine and Visual Arts in Berlin, Germany, and at the College of Liberal Arts, State University of New York at Buffalo. His work is a diverse collection of mixed media paintings that often appear to be sculpted as well as rendered. Colorful textures are also incorporated into framework for many of his pieces, which include expressive abstracts, striking female nudes, vibrant landscapes, seascapes, portraits, and paintings of fanciful fish, all rendered with a unique kind of "animated realism".
