Swinney is a serious student of painting. He is constantly improving his painting by attending various workshops and loves to spend time mixing his paints to the right degree. He never stops until he gets it right leaving a beautiful thought out painting of the world around him. His new body of work involves looking at everyday situations and conversations. As a viewer of Swinney's work you may find yourself remembering a similar situation in which you have been a participant.
