Hamlet Fine Art Gallery in Charleston, SC, Features Works by Bill Campbell

The Hamlet Fine Art Gallery in Charleston, SC, will present the exhibit, Collectors Corner, featuring flambeaux fine art pottery by Bill Campbell, on view from Apr. 4 through May 15, 2008.

Established potter, Bill Campbell, is presenting a new thirty piece collection of his wonderful flambeaux art pottery. He has been a potter for over 30 years living in Cambridge Springs, PA. Across the country his porcelain is admired for its spectacular color and elegant, crisp forms.each piece maintaining some of the energy of its creator. The glazes dance with surprising vibrancy in unexpected patterns. Functional pots become little moments of celebration within the day to day routine.

Campbell says "The glaze I use is full of life, runny, beautiful and difficult. I think that IT chose meIt is fussy about the body it sits on and is affected by the seasons. It is a demanding mistress too beautiful and exciting to toss out."

Stephanie Hamlet, gallery owner, is pleased to have the opportunity to exhibit the flambeaux art pottery exclusively in the Hamlet Fine Art Gallery.
