Greensboro Artists' League in Greensboro, NC, Features Works by Members in a Juried Group Exhibition

The Greensboro Artists' League, in Greensboro, NC, is proud to present a juried group exhibition featuring several works from nine GAL artists. A wide range of styles and media will be on exhibit through May 11.

The artists exhibiting are Jason Camp, Michael Decker, Elaine Dowdell, Nancy Friesen, John Gall, Hazel Lander, Michael Turner, Mary Jane Anderson and Allie Scott.

Jason Camp, a young full-time artist and new member, will show his lively series of abstract colored ink drawings and Michael Decker's fine hand-made furniture pieces will be on exhibit, including a magnificent handcrafted jewelry box. Elaine Dowdell, a long-time member from Winston-Salem, NC, will exhibit her seven large NC landscapes in oil on linen. Nancy Friesen, a textile artist, will show a large installation of weavings from linen, cotton, silk raffia, rayon, and rice paper and John Gall's new whimsical series of pen and ink wash drawings will be on display. Hazel Lander will be showing her elegant and classical Goddess series in porcelain and Michael Turner will be showing rich and compelling black and white photographs. Mary Jane Anderson will exhibit five delicate floral watercolors, and Allie Scott, also a watercolor artist, will show six dynamic landscape paintings.
