Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC, Features Student Art Exhibition

Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC, is presenting its annual Wake Forest Student Art Exhibition, on view in the University's Charlotte and Philip Hanes Art Gallery, through May 18, 2009. The student exhibition will include 70 works in various media, including painting, prints, drawings, sculpture, digital media, photography, video and installation art.

During the exhibition, one student from each of the six studio art areas (drawing, digital media, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture) will be awarded a $100 cash award. Recipients are selected by Wake Forest art faculty and are judged on creativity and force of content; drive and dedication to the creative process; willingness to go beyond what is expected of them; and in-class leadership qualities and personal integrity.
