Artists Guild Gallery of Greenville in Greenville, SC, Offers Works by Elizabeth Henderson

The Artists Guild Gallery of Greenville in Greenville, SC, will present an exhibit of works by guest artist Elizabeth Henderson, on view from May 1 - 31, 2010.

Watercolorist and architect, Henderson, did her understudies in Warsaw, Poland and got her degree from UCLA. She worked as a chief architect in California for many years. Henderson also taught architecture at the University in Maryland. As a professor of architecture for twenty-one years, she was amazed at the different styles represented by the thousands of students from many countries. "We could all paint the same thing in a thousand different ways," says Henderson.

Painting is what Henderson does all the time. It's her love, her life, her everything. It really helped being an architect, since her biggest passion is buildings all over the world, old and new, real and imaginary.

Henderson says about her work, "By looking at my paintings, I hope you will enjoy all of these places as much as I have."

Come view Henderson's works and enjoy the "sites" from around the globe. She brings a delightful ambience combining her architectural background with watercolor fluidity.

The Artists Guild Gallery of Greenville is a co-operative gallery located in the heart of downtown Greenville, SC. Over twenty local artists are represented in the gallery along with various mediums including acrylic, mixed media, oil and watercolor paintings, jewelry, glass, woodwork and sculpture. One or more of the artists is in the gallery at all times, demonstrating throughout the day and always ready to discuss their art with visitors.
