Steeped in tradition and perfect for the whole family, this upscale event puts you up-close-and-personal with over thirty-five world-class sculptors. Each sculptor will remain on-site throughout the weekend chatting casually with visitors while demonstrating techniques used to create their sculptures. All artwork, gift-garden size, is available for purchase. A host of fun-filled activates round out the weekend.

The Show and Sale is sponsored by Sculpture in the South, a 501(3) non-profit organization. Proceeds from the sale of sculpture benefit Summerville's Permanent Public Sculpture Program.

Sculpture in the South has expanded the annual Show & Sale to include the inaugural Arts Education Week, May 9-14, 2010. Teaming up with many local arts organizations and businesses, this week offers workshops and lectures for all ages. Theater, writing, dance, visual arts, music and more are all included in the week of celebrating the arts. Internationally to regionally known instructors will present workshops, after-school programs and an exciting evening lecture series. Workshop costs vary; some are free. The week rolls right into our 12th Annual Show & Sale.

Admission: $5 per day, ($7 weekend pass) children free with adult admission. Hours: May 15, 10am-6pm & May 16, 10am-5pm.
