Artworks Gallery in Winston-Salem, NC, Features Works by Chris Flory & Kate Magruder
Artworks Gallery in Winston-Salem, NC, is presenting a two-person exhibit by Chris Flory, drawings, and Kate Magruder, hand-built vessels, on view through June 30.
Chris Flory is showing drawings, mostly in charcoal and pencil, with the theme of "memory". She received her MFA from the UNC at Greensboro, and BFA from the Philadelphia College of Art.
Kate Magruder is showing hand-built slab clay vessels, such as bowls and plates, with Japanese-influenced glazes and designs. She has a BFA in art history from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, and studied at the San Francisco Art Institute with an emphasis in painting.
