Applewood Gallery in Charlotte, NC, Features Works by George Thompson & Judit Cutler

The Applewood Gallery in Charlotte, NC, announces its Spring Artist Exhibition, Form & Color, featuring works by renowned arist George Thompson and Judith Cutler, on view through June 15, 2004.

Thompson has been recognized by the Pastel Society of America as one of 45 Master Pastelists in the world. In addition to works in pastel the exhibition at Applewood Gallery will feature oils and sketches.

During his distinguished art career Thompson has studied and served as an instructor in both portraiture and landscape painting at the National Arts Club in New York City.

Form & Color, will also feature a selection of pastel work by award-winning Charlotte pastel artist Judith Cutler. Cutler recently received "Best in Show" in the Guild of Charlotte Artists show, and will be participating in at two PSA-sanctioned exhibitions later this year.
