June Issue 2009

Artists Guild Gallery of Greenville in Greenville, SC, Swaps Works with GA Art Group

Beginning June 1, and throughout June 30, 2009, the Artists Guild Gallery of Greenville, SC, and The Glynn Art Association of St. Simons Island, GA, will be "swapping" artwork, lending a new perspective to each gallery and their patrons!

The Glynn Art Gallery is located in the "heart" of St. Simons Island in the quaint Pier Village on the south end of the island. AGGG's artist's have sent a large variety of works to display for sale to one of the most desirable vacation spots on our nation's eastern shores. If you are vacationing on the island, take the opportunity to view a very eclectic collection.

AGGG is happy to have "that Island feeling" come to downtown Greenville. The St. Simon artists will present a plein air exhibit featuring the coastal scenes of Georgia. They hope to see lots of new visitors and a great response to this show.

The Artists Guild Gallery of Greenville is a co-operative gallery located in the heart of downtown Greenville. Over twenty local artists are represented in the gallery along with various mediums including acrylic, mixed media, oil and watercolor paintings, jewelry, glass, woodwork and sculpture. One or more of the artists is in the gallery at all times, demonstrating throughout the day and always ready to discuss their art with visitors.
