Spencer Art Gallery in Charleston, SC, Features Deborah K. Neal

The Spencer Art Gallery in Charleston, SC, will feature a special exhibit entitled, Visions of Non-Conformity, by Kiawah Island, SC, artist Deborah K. Neal from July 2 - 31, 2002.

"Deborah K. is a uniquely talented artist," says gallery owner Catherine Brandt-Spencer. "She loves experimentation and this love shows in her work. Debra paints large, both in composition, style, and size. She has a strong interest is close-ups, especially in nature subject matter. Her strong portrayal of native trees, palm fronds, fruit, and blooms are definitely unique."

Although Neal is self-taught, she has exhibited in many art shows throughout South Carolina and has earned numerous awards. Neal has also initiated and instructed young artist workshops and taught private art lessons.

Spencer Art Gallery is very pleased to have the opportunity to show the work of Deborah K. Neal.
