The Art Institute of Charlotte Gallery in Charlotte, NC, Features Works by Students

Clinton Jones

Life drawings by second-quarter students at The Art Institute of Charlotte in Charlotte, NC, will be on display at The Art Institute of Charlotte Gallery in the exhibit, Life Drawings by AICH Students, from July 5-30, 2004.

"The point of life drawings is to put to paper what your eye sees," said Wil Bosbyshell, artist and instructor in life drawings at AICH. "And the hardest thing to draw is the human body." The student-artists were in Bosbyshell's LIFE class during the spring quarter and were among his most talented students, he said.

The Art Institute of Charlotte offers associate's degree and certificate programs in Interior Design, Fashion Marketing, Graphic Design, Multimedia & Web Design, and Culinary Arts. The school is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools and is licensed by the North Carolina State Board of Community Colleges and the University of North Carolina Board of Governors. The Art Institute of Charlotte is one of The Art Institutes (www.artinstitutes.edu), with 30 education institutions located throughout North America, providing an important source of design, media arts, fashion and culinary professionals.
