City Art Gallery in North Charleston, SC, Features Works by Susan Bellinger, Rhonda Gratkowski and Kimba Burning Tree

The City of North Charleston's Cultural Arts Department is pleased to announce that original works by artist Susan Bellinger, photographer Rhonda Gratkowski, and wood artist Kimba Burning Tree will be featured during the month of July at the North Charleston City Gallery, in North Charleston, SC, from July 1-30, 2005.

The exhibit by Susan Bellinger, entitled Adventure into Markers, includes 18" x 24" abstract ink drawings and deal with current and historically significant issues. The photography exhibit entitled, Visions, by R. Gratkowski captures the wonders of nature, along with everyday genre. Kimba Burning Tree will present pieces in his collection entitled, Stumps From the Swamp Painted Retro-American. All works are created from cypress tree knees that have been prepared, painted, and sealed. Burning Tree is a Native-American artist and much of his work reflects his heritage.
