Deerpark Inn on the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC, Features Photography Exhibition

Members of the Southern Appalachian Photographers Guild is presenting an exhibition of works by members at the Deerpark Inn on the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. The exhibit will be on view through July 28, 2008.

The Southern Appalachian Photographers Guild is a diversified group of professional photographers, each member bringing to the Guild a unique vision and interpretation of the world around them.

Susan Stanton is an expert in the nature of this region capturing its personality through her landscape photography. Her work has appeared in galleries and publications across the region.

Bill Smith, involved in photography for over 5 decades, is a world traveled photographer dedicated to black and white imagery. Bill Lea has spent over 30 years photographing wildlife and has had over 6000 images appear in a vast array of books, magazines and other publications.

Stewart Stokes is a master at Photoshop techniques and "seeing outside the box", and Warren Bedell brings textures to life. Guest presenters are Bruce Siulinski, who will exhibit images using a Photoshop technique that involves layers and blur filters to create images rich in color and mood, and Rich Stevenson an avid waterfall bushwhacker and creator of the incredibly popular website (www.ncwaterfalls.com).

The images to be exhibited at the Deerpark Inn on the Biltmore Estate are as distinct as their creators.
