Art Central Gallery in Summerville, SC, Features Works by Sarah A. Kuhnell

A tunnel of green over a winding road, a wind-curled flag drenched in early light, an inviting garden corner, a bench warmed by the sun are images to bring you to Morning Reflection, an exhibit by Sarah A. Kuhnell at Art Central Ltd. Gallery in Summerville, SC, featured for the month of Aug., 2002.

In this window, Kuhnell visits those moments when a scene lifts our eyes and thoughts to a shift in heart and vision. "As a mirror reminds us of what is behind and around, our direct view is enlarged, illumined upon reflection."

Kuhnell continues, "Our daily errands over familiar ground lighten when we open our senses to the beauty we encounter; pause to savor that moment; hold it with us on our busy way." The artist hesitates and laughs "Please! Look out for traffic! If I paint a scene that you like to revisit then I have achieved my goal as an artist."

Kuhnell paints award-winning landscape, still life and portraits in oil, acrylic, pastel, and watercolor. She is an exhibiting member of the Summerville and Charleston Artist Guilds. Commissions may be arranged with the artist or through Art Central Ltd. Gallery.

In Morning Reflection Kuhnell invites you to visit those moments that enlarge and illumine a busy day, that fleetingly inspire a shift in heart and vision.
