City of North Charleston in North Charleston, SC, Features Exhibition by Anne L. Rhodes and Tony Young

The City of North Charleston's Cultural Arts Department is pleased to announce that original works by artist Anne L. Rhodes of Ft. Mill, SC, and Tony Young of Goose Creek, SC, will be featured from Aug. 1 - 31, 2005, at the City Gallery, at the Charleston Area Convention Center in North Charleston, SC.

The exhibit by Anne Rhodes is a collection of watercolor, acrylics, and pastels. Her subject matter and mediums vary, all bits of inspiration - things, people, places, and experiences.

Tony Young

Tony Young is currently president of the Goose Creek Artist Guild. His exhibit is entitled, The Entrepreneurs, and depicts the American entrepreneurial spirit in paint via color and form.

The Cultural Arts Program is the recipient of the 2000 Elizabeth O'Neill Verner Award for the Arts and receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts, SC Arts Commission, the US Department of HUD, and the corporate community.
