Somerhill Gallery in Chapel Hill, NC, Features Invitational Exhibition
Somerhill Gallery in Chapel Hill, NC, is presenting, Gardens & Vistas, an invitational exhibition featuring works by 19 artists from across the country. The exhibit will be on view through Aug. 18, 2005.

Artists included in the exhibition are: June McCoy Ball, Ben Berns, Arless Day, Laura Duis, Beth Goldston, Judy Hendricks, Pat Keough, Kazia Kolb, Henry Link, Dan Miller, David Nance, Howard Petote, Danny Robinette, Carolyn Rugen, Ryan Russell, Suzanne Howes-Stephens, Shirley Kelley, Tommie Rush, and Christopher Stephens.
Each artist selected to participate in Gardens & Vistas brings their own distinctive perspective to this exhibit. From the garden close-up to the long view this exhibition features a unique glimpse into the vast range of styles and techniques used to render the natural world.
Gallery director, Joe Rowland, recently commented, "Somerhill represents incredible painters who seem to dream a heightened vision of green and verdant summers. Seeing their inspired approaches gave me the joy of organizing their interpretations." Rowland continued, "The long view has the potential to inspire."
