The combination of strength and sensitivity in his work springs from a deep love of nature and his experiences in big cities. His award winning collages and one-of-a-kind craft pieces may be found in many private collections throughout the country.

Patricia Cole-Ferullo is a native of Fairmont, West Virginia. She received a BA degree in art and commercial art from Florida State University, worked at an Chicago advertising agency, married, divorced, and raised two daughters while working toward a Masters degree in art and education. She has taught art in Junior High school, Continuing Education, workshops, and at the Tryon Fine Arts Center.

Cole-Ferullo works primarily in watermedia, but enjoys using pastel, inks, and pencil; combining these elements to evoke deep feelings and mystery through a non-representational, experimental use of color, texture, form, and line. She is equally comfortable with a representative format, employing an innovative approach to drawing the human face and form.
