Red Clover Gallery in Landrum, SC, Offers Works by Linda Cheek

The Red Clover Gallery in Landrum, SC, is presenting the exhibit, From the Highlands to the Lowlands, featuring works by Linda Cheek, on view through Sept. 10, 2008.

In this latest collection of oil paintings, Cheek captures the allure of Western North Carolina and the South Carolina Coast. Working on location, she identifies the mood of each place and accurately translates her reaction to the surroundings. The plein-air artist currently resides in Brevard, NC, where she is inspired by the Appalachian Mountains and the scenic street scenes of local, colorful towns provide her with even more invigorating subjects to paint.

The Red Clover Gallery featured Cheek's work last year and is honored to be showing her newest collection this year.
