Cabarrus Arts Council in Concord, NC, Features New Group Exhibits

The Cabarrus Arts Council in Concord, NC, is presenting, Multi-Tasking, a new group exhibition featuring artists who create works in more than one medium, on display at The Galleries in Concord through Oct. 7, 2010.

Multi-Tasking includes works by six artists: Robert Crum of Salisbury, SC, oil paintings and mosaic murals; George Handy of Asheville, NC, large public art pieces, paintings, ceramics and etched glass; Paul Keysar of Charlotte, NC, paintings and drawings; Julie Olson of Durham, NC, Raku pottery, white stoneware and works in metal, paper, woodworking and stained glass; Whitney Peckman of Salisbury, NC, carved and painted gourds and paintings; and Anthony Ulinski of Raleigh, NC, woodworking and painting.

The Galleries will also be displaying the Cabarrus Art Guild Juried Exhibition, featuring works selected by Robert Tynes, art department chairman at the University of North Carolina at Asheville, on view through Oct. 7, 2010.
