The Art Cellar Gallery Offers Works by Renoir and More

Select works on paper by Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Mary Cassatt, Camille Pissarro, Paulemile Pissarro, H. Claude Pissarro, Paul Cezanne, Louis Legrand, Manuel Robbe, Edouard Manet and others will grace the walls of The Art Cellar Gallery of Banner Elk, NC, July 15 through Aug. 30.

This will be a museum quality show of important original prints, including etchings, lithographs and various other media, from the Impressionist period. This major grouping of artworks for show and sale range in price from $700 to $50,000.

Pam and Mike McKay of The Art Cellar Gallery have hired Jack Bosma, a curator who presents exhibits of old and modern masters in galleries and museums worldwide. Bosma is a respected lecturer on fine art collecting and the works of The Belle Epoque. He will present a fun and informative lecture, July 15 at 5pm. Bosma will be available for questions throughout the day from July 15-18.

This show is unprecedented in the North Carolina mountains. Amazingly, this caliber of art will be on view in Banner Elk. The opportunity to view and acquire such world famous artwork should not be missed. The gallery has extended hours during this exhibition.

In addition, The Art Cellar Gallery offers a wide variety of original artwork by local & regional artists including Norma Murphy, Edward Szmyd, Lene Casey, Catherine Tate, Arlee Mains, Bob & Chris Clark, and many others. Specialties include original animation drawings & celluloids from animated cartoons and Southern Outsider Art.
