College Gallery Hosts Work of Deborah Wray-Ramseur
Cleveland Community College, located in Shelby, NC, will host the works of visual artist Deborah Wray-Ramseur in the College Gallery through Oct. 15. The one woman art show is titled Pisces 23: A Pioneering Woman's Spirit Released.
Wray-Ramseur is a native of Shelby and a graduate of Crest High School. She holds both the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and the Master of Education in Art degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Wray-Ramseur also has the State of NC's Teaching Certificate for Art Education.
Wray-Ramseur has taught art for the Cleveland
County Schools for the past 17 years. She has taught at several
schools in the county including Burns High, Crest Middle, Fallston,
and Elizabeth Elementary Schools. She currently teaches art at
Union
Elementary. Wray-Ramseur is married to Harold Ramseur. They have
one son, Langston, a 12-year-old student at Crest Middle School.
