Holiday Art Show to Support Marrow Donor Program
The Community Marrow Donor Program, serving the Carolinas, is sponsoring a Holiday Art Show on Oct. 24 at the historic Morehead Inn in Charlotte, NC, from 5-8pm. CMDP raises funds for tissue typing (a blood test) to add potential bone marrow donors to bone marrow registry. A bone marrow transplant is the only cure for certain cancers, leukemias and other blood disorders.

A variety of original artwork, reproduction prints and pottery will be presented. A featured piece will be Bob Timberlake's Other highlighted artists and galleries include, Center of the Earth Gallery, The Harris Holt Gallery, Landmark Galleries, Jerald Melberg Gallery Inc., Merrill-Jennings Galleries, Michelle Kingery, work from artists of The Charlotte Art League, First Light Gallery, Himal Home Gallery, Hord Studio, Mad Studio, Picture Framing, Inc., Picture Perfect Gallery, Frame Warehouse, Coffey and Thompson Picture Framing, Inc., Stewart's Village Gallery and Wentworth Gallery.
