Associated Artists of Winston-Salem Host National Juried Exhibition
The Associated Artists of Winston-Salem is pleased to announce the exhibition, An American Experience: a view of ourselves, a National Juried Fine Art Competition and Show, which will be on display in the Milton Rhodes Gallery in the Sawtooth Building in Wimston-Salem, NC, through Oct. 28. This show will explore through visual art the concept of being "American." The exhibit will focus on the diversity and the uniqueness of our experiences, our culture, our environment, and ourselves.
The exhibit will feature 90 works by artists from 20 states. Steven Whitacre of the Kansas City Art Institute selected the work from 500 slides submitted by artists from across the country.
