Guilford College in Greensboro, NC, Offers Art Faculty Exhibition

The Guilford College Art Gallery at Guilford College in Greensboro, NC, will present recent works by Art Department faculty in a biennial exhibition, on view through Dec. 14, 2001.

The artists will be exhibiting a range of media including painting, mixed-media installations, sculpture, color and black & white photography, printmaking and ceramics. A series of weekly lunchtime talks with the artists will be held from 12:45 to 1:30pm in the Art Gallery on selected Wednesdays throughout the duration of the exhibition. Those interested in attending may bring their lunch or enjoy light refreshments provided by the gallery. Both the exhibition and the discussions offer opportunities to consider new developments in the work of these artists and to become acquainted with art faculty members.

Faculty exhibitors are: Todd Drake (painting), Gallery talk was Sept. 26; Shawn Linehan (photography); Gallery talk: Oct. 3; Heea Crownfield (sculpture), Gallery talk: Oct. 10; Adele Wayman (painting), Gallery talk: Oct. 17; Maia Dery (photography), Gallery talk: Oct. 31; Charles Tefft (ceramics), Gallery talk: Nov. 7; Roy Nydorf (sculpture), Gallery talk: Nov. 14; Michael Northuis (painting & sculpture), Gallery talk: Nov. 24; and Molly Stouten (printmaking), Gallery talk: Nov. 28.
