I Pinckney Simons Gallery Opens New Gallery in Beaufort, SC
The I. Pinckney Simons Gallery in Columbia, SC, is very pleased to open its second location in historic downtown Beaufort, SC on Oct. 27. Located at 711 Bay Street, it's in a fine new stucco building which features a blend of both traditional and contemporary design that provides wonderful exhibition space for the eclectic collection of featured artists. The gallery offers over twenty years of experience in the areas of art consultation and frame design for residential and commercial interests.
A beautiful selection of custom designer jewelry in handblown glass and sterling silver is offered for casual fun or evening dress. Bracelets, earrings, and necklaces - will you try them all on? In addition an array of art glass in many shapes and striking colors will make a beautiful gift. Hand wrought iron tables with antique American and European ornamentation are a special feature of the I. Pinckney Simons Gallery.
The gallery exhibits a collection of original works by regional, national and international artists. The paintings, pastels, watercolors, and works on paper represent the many styles of the artists; impressionist, traditional, realist, and abstract. A unique body of abstract acrylic sculpture by artist Leonard Cave will surely capture one's attention as the light play creates the feel of an ice sculpture. Also offered in the gallery collection is an ever-changing selection of antique paintings. Period, traditional and contemporary custom framing is offered with much experience and attention to detail.
Please join us in celebration of our new gallery opening on Oct. 27. When in Columbia, please visit our fine art gallery there.
