One of a Kind Art & Fine Craft Gallery Opens Second Gallery in Charleston, SC, Area
One of a Kind Art & Fine Craft Gallery opened its first gallery in Mar. of 2000 at the Towne Centre in Mt. Pleasant, SC. The owners, Terri and Carlos Gould are pleased to announce the opening of the second location on the corner of Church and Linguard Street, in Charleston, SC, (next to Tommy Condon's and part of the new French Quarter Inn hotel) in the beginning of Oct. 2001.
The gallery represents over 400 American artists, including many local artisans. From the completely whimsical to the totally functional, each piece is a distinctive find. One of a Kind features a broad variety of fine crafted jewelry, hand-blown glass, unique home furnishings, oil paintings, ceramics, pottery, garden art, and SC's best selection of kaleidoscopes.
Both Goulds have an extensive background in art. Terri owned and operated Out of Hand in Scottsdale, Arizona, similar in concept and looks to One of a Kind. Out of Hand was voted a top 100 Niche gallery in 1996. Carlos studied sculpture and painting at the art academy in Duesseldorf, Germany, recognized as one of the leading art schools in the world. The Goulds are looking forward to supplying the gallery with works of their own - no easy task, running two galleries at the same time and having a precious five year old daughter, Aleisha.
Come and enjoy the new gallery in the French Quarter.
