Queens College in Charlotte, NC, Presents Exhibit and Sale to Benefit American Cancer Society
Queens College Health and Wellness Center in Charlotte, NC, presents 5 Women for Women, in an exhibition and sale of fine art to benefit The American Cancer Society. The exhibit entitled, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, will be held in the Watkins Gallery on the campus of Queens College, 1900 Selwyn Avenue, in Charlotte. The exhibit and sale will be on view October 20 from 10am-5pm.
The artists in this group are: Pam Corey - ceramics, Loren DiBennedetto - oils, Mary K Kelly - pastels, Cama Tadlock - mixed media & acrylics, and Jan Yearwood - oils and pastels. These are all award winnig artists with exceptional works.
The fight against breast cancer is a cause close to the hearts of these women. Cama Tadlock is a breast cancer survuvor, as is the mother of Loren DiBennedetto. Pam Corey has lost an aunt to this horrible disease. These artists are committed to do all they can to help find a cure for this disease.
October is breast cancer awareness month.
